1. Live location (current location) in Telegram

With this interesting feature, you can now share your Live location with your friends; So that your contact can instantly see their location on the map; That way, you no longer have to submit manually. This feature is especially useful for times when you plan to meet each other and can help you find each other sooner. To use this feature, just go to the Location section and touch the ‘Share My Location for’ option.

2. Learn how to disable voice calling

Telegram leaves it up to you to decide whether to use this feature or not. If you feel that this possibility may cause you unwanted inconvenience, you can disable it completely or restrict it to your audience through the Telegram settings. By doing so, if someone intends to contact you, they will be greeted with a message stating “The user in question has not given permission to make a voice call”.

Note that even if you block or restrict voice calls, you can still communicate with others without restriction. To do this, enter the Telegram settings, Privacy And Security section and then Calls section and make the settings according to the picture above. At the bottom of this page there is a functional section called Exception. You can use this section as a blacklist (if you have activated the call) or as a white list (if you have closed the call).

If you have completely disabled voice calls: You can use the Exception option at the bottom of this page to specify people as exceptions so that while everyone can disable voice calls with you, the people in this List to be able to contact you.

If you have left a voice call: You can use the Exception option as a blacklist. For example, if you are annoying, you can add him to this list instead of blocking all contacts so that you are not allowed to contact you. Of course, this list only covers people in your audience. If your intruder is an unknown person and you do not see his number, just block his account.

3. Access to Telegram cloud space

Certainly, among the many messages we see daily in groups and channels, there are many favorites that we would like to store so that we can access them more easily in the future. In previous updates, Telegram has provided users with unlimited personal space to which the user can send all his favorite items and ensure their permanence (as long as your account remains intact). To access this section, just drag the Telegram side menu inside and then touch the cloud icon in front of your name. In this way, you will have access to your private space, which is a one-way chat with you.

From now on, if you see a text message or a photo or video that you intend to save, just forward the message for this chat, which is titled YOU in your existing list. The interesting thing in this section is the permanent permanence of the files; So that even if the message is omitted from channels or groups, it will remain and usable in your cloud space.

4. Easy creation of gif file in Telegram

Gif images have gained astonishing popularity in recent months, and most of the images published in the Telegram are gif images; Therefore, in its recent versions, Telegram has made it possible to easily create gif images. From now on, you can easily send all your videos as a gif file and enjoy the benefits such as less volume, ultimate playback, and so on. To do this, when you upload a video file, you will also see an icon for the video to be audio or silent. If you send your video as a voice, the uploaded file will be sent as a video and if you mute it before sending, the uploaded file will be sent as a gif image.

5. Learn how to create a poll in Telegram

If you are the admin of a Telegram channel, or for any reason you want to create a poll in the group you are a member of, you can use 2 very useful robots in Telegram. If your poll has text options you should use the @Vote robot, and if it has an emoji (Like and Dislike) you should use the @Like robot. Using these two robots is very simple. First, after referring to them, touch the Start option. Then select the command to create a new poll from the ready-made commands.

Now it’s time to send the desired question, photo or video, which you can then send your desired options in the form of text (@Vote) or in the form of emoji (@Like). After sending all the desired options, send the Done command to the robot to create your poll. Now just touch the Publish option and then select the desired chat. Now just touch the Publish option and then select the desired chat. Upon entering the desired channel or group, a message will be automatically written in the Telegram text box. Wait a moment to see a preview of the poll. Then touch it to send the poll and other users can vote.

6. Change the ringtone of messages:
All or certain people in Telegram

Telegram uses the default Android voice to notify messages; This means that any sound you make for your text messages also applies to telegram messages. In Telegram, you can change the ringtone of Telegram messages by referring to the Telegram settings and selecting the “Notifications And Sounds” option, so that you can distinguish between SMS and Telegram messages without looking at the phone.
Also, if you want the voice of a particular person to be different from other audiences, just touch that person’s name while chatting with them, and in the page that opens, go to the “Notifications And Sounds” section and change the notification sound.

7. Automatic download of SIM card or WiFi internet in Telegram

There are several types of files to download in Telegram. Photos, videos, sounds, gifs, etc., all of which will need to be downloaded and consumed in order to run. Many users believe that the automatic loading of these files, especially when the SIM card is connected to the Internet, is nothing but a waste of traffic. For example, you may be sent a video titled “Android Programming Tutorial” with a size of 20 MB. Normally this video will be downloaded to you automatically; However, if you have disabled auto-download, you can read the video description first and download it only if you wish.

If you agree and would like to upload only what you want instead of uploading all the downloaded files; You need to go to the Telegram settings and then Data And Storage to view the file formats separately (photos, videos, etc.) and specify which ones have auto-upload permissions. In this section by the “When Using Mobile Data ” option, manage automatic downloads on the SIM card Internet and manage the automatic download on WiFi Internet with the ” When Connected On WiFi ” option. We recommend disabling the automatic download of all files except photos. Note that to further reduce volume consumption, you should apply these settings to other family members (who use your Internet).

For a video tutorial on this, you can read Zomit’s exclusive tutorial entitled “Significantly Reduce Internet Consumption by Disabling Telegram Automatic Download”.

8. Browse and manage cache in Telegram

When a photo, video or audio is uploaded to you, it means it is downloaded to a part of the phone memory called cache. Downloading and uploading files to the cache allows you to run the image or video once in the future, even offline. But this feature, along with all the positive aspects, will also occupy the volume of the phone. So if you are short of space, it is better to delete your telegram cache before any action. Note that deleting the Telegram cache will not delete your existing text messages or media in any way, and you can still view previous files by visiting the chat, group or channel. The only difference is that you will need to reload them. To access this section, refer to the Telegram settings / “Data And Storage” section and then the “Storage Usage” section.

In this section, in front of the “Clear Cache” option, you will see a text titled “Calculating” that the more volume there is in the Telegram cache, the more time it will take to calculate. After displaying the amount of occupied volume in this section, touch it and hit the red “Clear Cache” option to return your free space to the phone. Of course, not all files need to be deleted. After selecting the “Clear Cache” option, photos, videos, music, etc are displayed separately, and for example, you can specify that only videos be deleted from the cache.

9. not showing the ” Last Seen Recently” in Telegram

Some users must have noticed on the chat page that the price of their last visit to Telegram (for example, the last time at 14:00) is the last view message recently. If you also want other people not to see your last time on Telegram, you can turn this option on “NoBody” by going to the Telegram settings /” Privacy And Security” section and then the “Last Seen” section.

You must have noticed in the chat page of some users that instead of the last time they last appeared in the telegram (for example, Last Seen At 14:00), the message “Last Seen Recently” was inserted. If you also want other people not to see your last time on Telegram, you can turn this option on “NoBody” by going to the Telegram settings / “Privacy And Security” section and then the “Last Seen” section.

The important point here is that if you hide your last visit from others, you will not be able to watch the moment of their last visit to Telegram (even if they have enabled it).

10. Devices connected to your account (have you been hacked?) in Telegram

If you feel that there is a second person in your account or for any reason you are worried about someone other than yourself in your telegram, you can find out by referring to the telegram settings, “Privacy And Security” section and then the ” Active Seassons” section. In this section, all mobile phones and computers that are able to use your account will be displayed.

Note that the presence of more than one item in this section is not necessarily a sign of a second person in your account, and in many cases, the items in this section are dedicated to previous versions of Telegram or computers that you have used to log in. The expiration date, phone model and IP of each item are also recorded in front of them, which you can check to see if these devices belong to you or someone else.

In any case, if you feel that the registered items do not belong to you, or exist, but you do not need them anymore; You can stop all connections except your current phone by clicking on the red “Terminate” option.

11. Two_Step Verification in Telegram

As mentioned in the first part, to enter the Telegram account, after entering the phone number, a verification code will be sent to you, by entering it, you can access the account. Unfortunately, if a close person intends to misuse your account, he can use your negligence to remove the Telegram code from your phone and enter it in his phone. To completely prevent such events, all you have to do is enable two-step login for your account. To completely prevent such events, all you have to do is enable two-step login for your account. With this possibility, the password for the account will be set, which will be requested from you after confirming the code sent by Telegram. This way, even if someone accesses your Telegram sending code, they will still face a more difficult barrier, the password, and it will be impossible for them to access the account.

To do this, go to the Telegram settings, “Privacy And Security” section and then the “Two Step Verification” section. In this section you will be asked to set a password for your account. After setting the password, this time you have to enter the PasswordHint or password guide so that if you forget the password, you will remember it by viewing this guide. This section is optional and you can go to the next step by leaving it blank and selecting the “Skip” option. In this step you will be asked to specify a backup email so that if you forget your password you can use this email to recover. This step is also optional and you can skip it. That’s it and two-step password for your account is now enabled.

Zomit suggests that you enter a valid and of course private email in this section or at least choose a password for your account that the probability of forgetting it is close to zero. The reason for this is that in future logins (for example, after buying a new phone) you will need this password to log in to your account, and if you forget it, you will have to delete your account and all the information and channels inside it.

12. Forget the Two_Step Verification password in Telegram

When setting this password, Telegram will provide you with two different ways, including support email and reminder guide, so that if you forget your password, you can recover it by one of these two ways. But unfortunately, many users, because they know that the probability of forgetting the password is close to zero, stop filling in these two sections and skip it by clicking the Skip option. If you are one of the people who did not pay attention to these items and now you have forgotten the Two_Step Verification password and have trouble logging in to your account again; Unfortunately, we have to say that you have no choice but to delete your account and recreate it. This will delete all messages, channels, and groups of which you are a member.

For this purpose, first enter your number in the Telegram application so that the activation code will be sent to you via SMS. (Telegram may send the verification code as a telegram message. If you do not receive the code, touch Send Via SMS to receive the verification code via SMS). After entering the activation code, you will be taken to the Two_Step Verification password entry page. An option called “Forgot Password” will also be displayed on this page. Touch it. If you have already specified an email or help for your account, Telegram will enter a new page to update the password by entering the necessary information. Otherwise, Telegram will send you a message stating that your only way is to reset your account or try to remember a password because you did not enter the recovery information. By touching the “Ok” option, red text titled “Reset My Account” will be added to the page, and by selecting it, you will enter your new account.

13. Disable Telegram’s internal browser

Telegram has an internal browser with which you can run incoming links without leaving the Telegram environment. This feature is enabled by default in Telegram; But in any case, you can do this to enable or disable it. Just go to Telegram settings, then find the “In-App Browser” option and turn it On or Off.

  • Are you blocked by anyone?

To find out if you have been blocked by others, just go to their profile or chat page. If that person’s last visit date was “Last Seen A Long Time Ago” and no profile picture of them was visible, that person has blocked you.

  • Block and Unblock people

If you have annoying or unwanted messages in Telegram, you can block the desired account, you will no longer see a message from that person. All you have to do is enter his profile by touching his name at the top of the chat environment and select the ” Block” option from the three-point section. To unblock, just go to the same section again and this time select the “Unblock” option.

14. Have you been reported in Telegram? Notify when the report is fixed

If your personal account is reported for any reason, restrictions will be set for you. For example, you cannot send messages to people who are not on your contact list. If for any reason you feel that your account has been reported and restricted, you can be notified by the official Telegram robot. All you have to do is send a message to @ spambot. This robot will tell you in a few seconds whether you have been reported or not.

If this bot responds positively, you will be notified when your account report is deleted. If this is the first time you have been reported, this problem will usually go away within 48 hours. If this is repeated, the constraint time will be incremented. It should be noted that this robot will speak to you in Persian and if you have a permanent report, it will guide you to fix the report.

15. Reporting annoying people, groups or channels

If an anonymous person sends you annoying messages, or if you come across a group or channel that had a problematic topic or activity, instead of blocking them, you can report them so that Telegram can completely delete the account or channel if necessary to damage it. Do not reach other users. All you have to do is select the “Report” option from the three-point menu after visiting the chat, group or channel profile.

16. Delete Telegram account

To delete a Telegram account, you need to visit the Telegram website separately. To do this, first enter this link (https://my.telegram.org/auth?to=deactivate) and enter your number. A code will then be sent to Telegram, which you must enter on the relevant website to be a confirmation order on your removal request. By doing this and selecting the “Deactive Account” option, your account will be completely deleted.

17. Automatic download of SIM card or WiFi internet in Telegram
